What is English Skeet?
Skeet shooting originated from America, but the English version has its own unique set of rules. The targets are fired horizontally over the range from two houses of differing heights, one high and one low. There are 7 stands situated at an equal distance through a semi-circular curve, and shooters will shoot a series of targets at each stand. A typical round would normally consist of 25 targets
Our Facilities for English Skeet
We currently have 5 English Skeet layouts on our ground, which is one of the largest setups in the UK. Impeccably kept, measured and maintained, the standard of the targets are world class. Gun racks and some seating are provided. Skyline backdrops ensure targets are visible in all weather conditions. We are hosting the CPSA World Skeet Championships this year, confirming the quality of the setup
What is Olympic Skeet?
Similar to English Skeet with some major differences! Shot over 8 stands, the targets are shot in a different order and there is a random 0-3 second delay between the target being called and the trap releasing it
The gun cannot be pre-mounted, and must not be mounted until the target is seen. In addition to this the targets are faster and fly further
Our Facilities for Olympic Skeet
We have one permanent Olympic Skeet layout available, however where required (i.e. competitions, etc) we can set up any of our 5 English Skeet layouts to adhere to Olympic standard. Impeccably kept, measured and maintained, the standard of the targets are world class. Gun racks and some seating are provided. Skyline backdrops ensure targets are visible in all weather conditions
