If you want to get away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life, then we may just have the perfect answer for you! We are delighted to announce that we now have several brand new self catering holiday cottages available for short breaks and short term lets.
Based within the grounds, we have four superbly appointed luxury cottages nestled within a peaceful and picturesque courtyard location.
The cottages are lovingly restored barn conversions, all oozing charm with exposed beams yet boasting all of the modern facilities one would come to expect from today’s standards.
Each of the cottages will sleep between 4 and 6 people, and for added convenience cottages one and two are interlinked with lockable internal doors to open the cottages into one large option for the larger family or group.
Of course, all of the cottages have their own lounge, fitted with contemporary and stylish furniture, television and cd radio. The perfect retreat to kick off those walking boots and settle back with that well earned glass or three of wine. You could even go as far as play one of the board games supplied too!
As you can see from the photos, each of the cottages has their own SUPERBLY appointed kitchen. Everything you need (and more!) is there, right down to the toaster and cutlery! If you like the idea of cooking your own meals but don’t want to do the shopping, simply let us know when booking what ingredients you will need and leave it to us – they will all be put away in your cottages’ kitchen for when you arrive! If you don’t like the idea of cooking when on your mini break, don’t forget our clubhouse cafe will be open to serve you with whatever you need! As for eating out, we’re spoilt for choice with a wealth of restaurants and cosy country pubs right on our doorstep. We will enlighten you of our local facilities upon your arrival!
The bathrooms are again of a contemporary feel, adding to the overall style of the cottages. All are fitted with a shower and three of the cottages also benefit from the addition of a bath. There is also a communal utility room supplied with washing machines and tumble dryers, just in case you decide to book a session on one of our quad bikes!!
So whether you are a walker looking for a central and convenient base, a shooter wanting to lead up to that competition in relaxed and tasteful surroundings or you simply deserve a treat, why not give us a call. For our on site cottages, bookings are strictly for a minimum occupancy period of one week. If you are looking for something more short term, maybe just a night or two for example, we are pleased to point you in the direction of our friends over at Granary Court. Based less than a 10 minute drive from our grounds, Granary Court is an 18th century grainstore / barn conversion, converted into four spacious apartments. Each cottage style apartment has two well proportioned bedrooms, well appointed bathroom, fully equipped kitchens and the lounges each have a feature fireplace and character beams. Floodlit parking is also provided for peace of mind and at the rear of the property there is an extensive lawned area with brick built BBQ’s. And yes..........they are stag and hen friendly too!!!
