Why Choose Doveridge for Clay Shooting in the Midlands?

Our facilities are truly unrivalled not only in the Midlands, but in the UK. The most recent CPSA World Skeet Championship was held at Doveridge and we pride ourselves on the conditions of our courses. Skeet shooting originated in the USA but the rules were adapted to create an English version. Using a double barrelled shotgun, shooters are required to hit 25 targets in a mixture of singles and pairs with only one shot allowed each round. The targets vary in speed and trajectory making concentration key for success. A simple scoring system makes this a very competitive form of clay pigeon shooting and a great one to play in groups of five to six. Gun racks and seating is also available on most of the layouts.
