Q. Do I need to bring my own equipment?
A. No, we provide excellent quality guns, ammunition and safety gear based on whatever shooting activity you want to participate in.
Q. Are the shooting activities dangerous?
A. Absolutely not. We have a fantastic safety record and our experienced staff will ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience. Bruised or damaged shoulders are a common complaint but your instructor will ensure you have the correct gun and protection to avoid any injuries.
Q. I have never been shooting before, does this matter?
A. Not at all, in fact, we welcome beginners. We have a wide variety of training and instruction programmes and out shooting ranges have something for everyone regardless of ability. If you have tried this before and failed to hit anything it was probably your instructors fault, not yours.
Q. Is there accommodation available at Doveridge?
A. Yes, we offer you the chance to have a fantastic weekend break in one of our lovingly restored holiday cottages. Some of our cottages sleep up to 35 people perfect for larger groups.
Q. Do you offer discounts for large groups?
Q. What should I wear?
A. All we ask is you wear sensible clothing suitable for the countryside depending on the weather. All safety gear will be provided including jackets. High heels are not advised.
Q. Do I need a license to shoot?
A. No, we hold a current Police exemption certificate. We do require people not to be under the influence of any alcohol or illegal drugs.
