Simulated Game Shooting

Simulated Game Shooting Days are a great for corporate hospitality or for groups of friends getting together to have a fun day.  It is also an ideal way to get yourself ready for the game season.

At Doveridge Clay Sports we have various drives to cater for novices or for the more experienced shots.

We have set dates available to purchase but if you would prefer a different day, we can cater for Driven Simulated days only on Monday and Tuesdays.  Please contact us either by email info@doveridgeclaysports.co.uk  or by telephone 07880 508250

If you are a novice to this, we have Instructors available at an additional charge to help you through the day.

The day is structured similar to a traditional game shooting day, but the great thing about simulated days you can do it all year round.  The day will start with a Full English Breakfast.

We will then take you out for 3 drives followed by Elevenses at the Clubhouse.  After this we will go out a shoot another 3 Drives before the end of the day is finished with a 2 Course Meal.

The maximum number of guns per day is 15.  The guns will be split in to three groups of 5.

The targets will simulate driven Pheasant, Partridge and Pigeon.  However, the targets can be easily tailored to help suit your requirements depending on the group’s ability.

Maximum Guns per day is 15.  Minimum Guns per day is 8 (2 x groups of 4)

Cost per person is £150

• Breakfast, followed by safety talk and the drawing of pegs.

Additional Charges:-

• Cartridges available at additional cost of £60 per 250 cartridges.
• Instruction available at £100 per Instructor
• Gun Hire – £25 per gun (If you haven’t got a Shotgun Certificate you will require an Instructor to look after you for the day)

Rental of 6 Trap Flush Trailer

The Promatic Grouse Flush machine is able to throw repeatable flushes – from 1 to up to 6 targets at any one time. The Grouse Trailer comes with its very own grouse radio that controls and can programme the flushes.

• 6 traps (3 x Standard Clays & 3 x Midi Clays), each with a 168 clay carousel to give a total of 1008 birds.
• 6 trap synchronised rotation, individual trap elevation is between 7-45 degrees approx.
• Distance thrown is 100m -130m
• Individual trap control or random flushes from all 6 traps
• Random flushes of between 1 and 6 birds – up to a total of 200 birds per flush
• Bespoke Grouse trailer has off road tyre wheels, jockey wheel for easy manoeuvring and jack stands for levelling
• Grouse Trailer has ForkLift attachment allowing you to lift the trailer for extra height.
• Battery charger bank with mains connection for charging
• Intelligent charge system – auto turn off stops overcharging

Charges for Rental

• Trailer Hire Charge – £600 (Includes 1 Person to run the machine).
• Additional staff – £100 per day
• Plus, clays at 30p per clay
• Mileage charge for delivery and collection from DE6 5LN. Charged at 40p per mile.
