Practice in The Best Shooting Grounds!

Clay Shooting Practice Facilities

We pride ourselves on the impeccable standards of our practice facilities, and this is highlighted by our prestigious CPSA Premier Plus Rank. This honour places us among the best shooting grounds in the country. Our standards are made possible by our incredible team who keep our 70 acres of shooting grounds maintained to the highest standards throughout the year. Our shooting experience is further enriched by the picturesque countryside in which we’re set, providing an idyllic backdrop for your clay shooting activities!  We’re renowned for our challenging targets which we change and innovate on a regular basis to keep your clay pigeon shooting as fresh as your first visit.

You don’t have to be member of the club to come and use our facilities but if you do become a member it can save money if you think you’re going to be a regular visitor to our shooting grounds.  Click here for Membership details, and to see how much money you could be saving.

Our Game Shooting Facilities

At Doveridge, you can enjoy some incredible game shooting settings, so no matter what your skill level is you’ll be able to face up to some great challenge. We endeavour to give you a wide variety of clay shooting activities for you to enjoy, which include both solo and squad configurations.

Within our grounds we have a number of different facilities to spice up your clay pigeon shooting. Our High Tower is 150ft tall and enables targets to be programmed to suit abilities and preferences, and this makes it one of our most popular shooting activities. If you’re an experienced clay pigeon shooter you’re sure to be aware of Down The Line, the most widely used trap discipline shot in the UK. It’s a good starter for beginners as the targets are relatively easy to hit, to learn more about the process, view our guide. Our DTL’s are situated near our 6 skeet layouts. In the past we’ve hosted the CPSA World Skeet Championships and this reflects the standard of our equipment and maintenance. In addition to these activities we also have a permanent Compak Sporting setup and Automatic Ball Trap for you to choose from.
